It is where there is a sample page with how the page is to be laid out, like where to place photos and embellishments. But it is only a guide.... usually it tells you what size photos and if it wants you to put ribbon or buttons or flowers or a flourish.
Mine will be a very simple one nothing too much to add to it except 3 or 4 photos. I will get your email and send you some sketches that I have made and used and show you them. Hope this helps.
