Hi from Vicmbee

Hi my name is vicki I live for and love to scrap as well. I have a lot of projects I want to do and really like practical OTP stuff. I started about 4 years ago after my mum started me off with my first kits, as a b'day present. I am married have 4 kids 3 at home and one angel. Look forward to chatting with you lovely ladies and seeing your work online.

I'm a SAHM at least for the time being anyway. :bounce:I have been a SAHM most my life either looking after my kids or someone elses like my sisters and some neighbors. Next year when sam starts school I will have to go to work.


My kids are Jessica(17) in yr 11. Phillip(an angel at age 5) he would have been 16 this year, Michael (12) and Sam(5) he was born 8 weeks early and spent his first 7 or 8 weeks in the hospital till he was big enough to come home. Then at age one he was diagnosed with Hydrochepylus(water on the brain) as he had a large head maybe because of his prematurity anyways everything turned out fine he just had to grow to his head, and luckily didn't have to have a shunt put in.

I have been married for 18 years. No toyboy!!! here I'm younger by 5 years.
Other things I like to do are Knitting, cross stitch, collect dolls and keep mind active with suduko's and crosswords although my memory escapes me at times.

Well I guess thats me pretty boring!!!

Oh the fun of having a Mum start our passions- I think it's wonderful as we are their passions.

You are Lucky. My mum hates scrapping and is always boring me with her love of painting. LOL

Painting is brilliant too little doll lol! I used to do folk art many moons ago!

my sister done folk art, she was good at it but now she is into scrapping as well. Mum is into lots of crafts bear making, quilting, knitting, crochet, sewing etc. she is trying hard not to start another expensive craft but she is slowly getting hooked on scrappin.

I tried folk art. Didnt grab me. Very unsteady hands. Ive done mosiacs, lead lighting, picture framing and a range of other classes my mum booked me into at TAFE growing up. She loves trying any new craft but scrapping. I got hooked after an invite to a creative memories party and have been without spare change ever since.

Im interesting coz of things that have happened to me not coz I bothered to be interesting. LOL LOL LOL

I loved painting - I was big into art at school and nearly went on to study it at uni... and drama too!

Art, Drama, Sculpture, Design... in the end my love of the runway won out!

Thanks for your story Vicky! That's what I love about this forum - getting to know the challenge chicks who otherwise I wouldn't get much of a chance to chat to!
