Challenge Chics Retreat

Post by Debmitchell on Tue Jul 22, 2008 9:13 pm

Hi ya babes,

Christine Wormald planted the seed for this idea- yay!

What Tina & I thought of doing & I also talked to Shezzy about yesterday, was to have a Challenge Chics retreat in Qld in the Brisbane area next year- looking at the sunshine coast area! This won't be until around August September 2009 but if I could get an expression of interest from you all, then we can go ahead with looking at venues ect.

We thought that if we had a place that had cabins, then 3 or 4 of us could share 1 each to cut down on costs. We would all toss in a certain amount to cover food costs- like we could barby for dinner, have counter lunches & organize breakfasts as well. Every one could just supply their own morning teas as we all have different tastes- me - I love saos with cheese & tomato- yum! I prefer Billy Tea teabags- not a coffee drinker & vegimite toast for brekky lol! I am open to all suggestions in this regard.

So post a comment on whether you would be interested & oh, we will be scrapping too of course, so bring a kit with you with your tools ect.

Your imput is valuable

This is a great way to get to meet each other in person, have a fabulous girls weekend away from hubbys, children, partners and best of all we get to do what we love scrapping!! We can relax, laugh, enjoy food and even a glass of wine or two at the end of the day!

Cheers

Shez - how dare you suggest a glass or two of wine??!

If we're going to do it, we're going to do it properly! I think a dozen glasses of wine at the end of the day and no less!!

Man, I am so there... I'll be the one embarassingly singing too loud and off key from too much bubbles! drunken
