Hi from Elle

Hi my name's Ellen (or Elle) and i live in sunny Brisbane (which is not so sunny today ). I am a 21 yo 2nd year medical student who lives at home with my family (mum, dad, bro n sis). I have only just gotten into scrapbooking in the last couple of months and I have found it gets neglected already with my busy schedule of work and uni. I lived near Gladstone (600k north of brissy) for 14 years until we moved here in 2006, and i lived on campus for two years of my science degree (lots of fun, awesome friends, bad food lol).

I'm not sure what else I should add, but if you want to know more, just let me know!!

My husband ( at age 40 ) is doing second year medicine here on the Gold Coast - was a nurse previously!!! He loves it but it also does his head in a s well!!

Nice to meet you and welcome to the forum. Sounds like you are busy with study etc. Can I ask what uni your at?? The reason why is my mum works for Griffith Uni on the Gold Coast Campas, just curious to see if your there or not!

My sister used to go the Griffith Uni but then moved to Toowoomba & was at the SQU or SUQ She is now a fully qualified Councillor- can't spell lol! with as she puts it- letters after her name I tell her that I have too- Deborah K Mitchell SG - Scrapping Goddess or WOM- worn out mother

ANgie - ask her is he knows Kate and Arthur Shacklock - long stadning family friends - both lectureres at Gold Coast Griffith...
Medicine and dental are in at southport in theor own litle building..."away from the rifraf" ???
They are building a huge big new campus so they will move out ther eventually - SHane will be back earning money again by then I hope!

i'm actually at uq (been there for the last 4 1/2 years ) just as it was closer to home and i was fortunate to get an interview and a hecs placing on my first attempt at gamsat (score was awful, GPA was average, but intereview must have been stellar )

Hi there, Nice to meet you. I agree finding time to scrap is hard. Its a passion that sometimes gets put on the backburner. Im looking forward to seeing your LO's, you should scrap a studying page!!! Just to remember back in 10 yrs time how sucky it was then you can jump for joy (Hopefully not while stitching someone up) that you got there in the end and are earning millions of $.

ah no, lisa, no exams just yet (they are all in nov!), but im on holidays in two weeks time, which im so craving as im heading to Perth for a week with my bestie.

Oh- Shane has 3 big exams - MOnday to Wednesday and then at the end of the year he will only have 2 - hes doing msk and neuro and oskies I think.....
