Mine is 'Secret Family Recipes'! I can't wait to get those special recipes than have been handed down!!!
Mine is my nan's Golden Syrup dumplings... the greatest recipe in the entire known universe!!!

I have almost finished my cover, wolcome/instructions and sign in. It's pretty much done, now I just have to put the finishing touches on tonight.

i have one question, do we decorate the front,back, do an introduction page, and one recipe page, then leave the other pages blank for each person to do as they wish???? and i cant wait to see what slice recipe you give me shez, i just had to do the slices cos im a bit of a sweet freak

Do a front and back cover, an intro/instructions and a sign in.
the do your page the way you want everyone else to do theirs - for example, in mine I want everyone to do a double (otherwise, I find it's too small to fit everything on!

Then yeah, leave all the other pages blank for everyone else to do theirs!

Well mine is everything naughty and nice, so in a nutshell ... anything as long as it tastes good, can be from any culture and most defo if you want to share (and that includes you Debbie Doos) are ones that have been handed down from family to family and/or generations to generations ... also even a recipe that you have found or given and is now your favourite!!!

just to reiterate to everyone, my recipe topic is cocktails, so share your fave recipes for chilling out with friends, special occasion cocktails, or ones that you just simply enjoy. nearly everyone has a fave drink (think james bond and his martini...)

lol as many as you want to put in shez. i was going to get people to fill in a double page each and fill it with 2-3 recipes, but if you feel like you want to do more, then go for it - i can always buy paper inserts for the book from spotlight if need be. im adding in 4 or 5 recipes of my own over the weekend

Don't purchase any inserts what you have will be just fine ... looking forward to seeing your journal .... we are going to have a lot of fun doing this!

can someone tell me exactly how many people are in this cj, and im going to have real trouble with elles cocktails, i dont know any and i dont drink them, just give me plain old spirits

Amanda just search on the internet for a cocktail recipe or ask a friend of family member if they have one, I'm sure she wont mind that! Amanda there are 9 ladies in the circle journal.

amanda you can add mocktails (the non-alcoholic ones) but i think you will receive mine last (since im getting your CJ first) so you can get some ideas for what to put in there and, just like shez said, you can check the internet for any recipes you want!

Hey Eiramnelle, Great minds think alike. Im doing a cocktail Journal too. You see I dont cook so well.

Dont worry Amanda mine will be a cocktail slash any type of mixer drink like cowboy, b52 ect.....if you are really stuck just chuck in bourban and coke....... they will all G/Tee the same happy result.
